Geary’s is a measure of spatial autocorrelation, which is inversely related to Moran’s I while being more sensitive to local spatial autocorrelation. Geary’s demonstrates increasing positive spatial autocorrelation for values significantly lower than 1, while values significantly higher than 1 demonstrate negative spatial autocorrelation.
