In the Linux kernel mailing list, Linus Torvalds wrote a very interesting peek on his general opinion on AI: for Linus Torvalds, AI is just a tool. He refused to demonize the tech nor address it in a different regard in the docs. This resonates with me, and with the idea that we should not stop making powerful tools because they are dangerous.
