The beer spot Lucie meant at Vyšehrad — “there’s a brewery and very good views.” Laid-back beer garden built into Bastion XXXIV on the eastern ramparts of the Vyšehrad fortress, with a spacious terrace and sweeping views over the Nusle valley toward Žižkov and the TV Tower (great at sunset).
Note: it’s a beer garden / pub rather than a true brewery — it doesn’t brew its own; it pours tank Pilsner Urquell, Radegast 10° and guest craft beers (Chříčský), alongside a Balkan-style grill. Run by the team behind Karlín’s Přístav 18600 beer garden.
Runner-up on the complex: Rio’s Vyšehrad (Štulcova 2) — a sit-down restaurant near the basilica, no ramparts panorama.
